I've always liked the look of them and if they ever come up on sale I'd probably buy one but just don't think they're worth 60

60 ain't much though now. Each to their own.

Good buy with the dessies, are they the wolf colour?

They're just the standard sand colour with the red stitching, that's a good rule of thumb replacing them each year especially with how much use I get out of them. I've got a pair in blue too by Kurt Geiger.

These are the kind of top I was talkin' bout: anyone know how to get them online? The company name is Claudio & they're italian.

They make other nice maillots

Sorry but the black/white tops are simply awful !  They look/belong more horse racing than
Velo !

Horse racing, yeah, and so what? I'm sure there's a connection between early cycling clobber and the jockeys' shirts. I was just trying to get away from the typical 60s and 70s cycling tops we all know and love. Besides, there's a definite mid-60s feel about these maillots, I can easily picture K Moon or Daltrey wearing one of them in, say, 66. Not the kind of tops I would myself wear, I'm getting subtler with age, but I like them.

By the way, own some le coq sportif cycling tops and the quality is more or less like FP, it's true also that the merino ones are on the thin side.

Not sure if this should be in 'clothes for sale', however I've a Prendas St Raphael Jersey (Anquetil)

http://www.prendas.co.uk/details.asp?typ=typ&fkid=2&ID=1220

It's XS which is a good fit at 34" but a little too short for me. Only worn it once and have the original packaging but no tags.

20 + pp

I'll get a picture up at the weekend if anyone's interested, or PM me.

A lovely jersey and a steal at that price. In case he doesn't see it I suggest contacting 'jonny' direct by pm as I know he is around the same size

Good stuff here

http://www.solocc.com/jerseys-and-base-layers/classique-jerseys

http://www.vintagevelos.com/en/13-wool-trainers

Not seen that solocc site before, chuffed to see that there's some nice XS jerseys in the clearance, mainly these two;

Anything with writing on in a continental tongue does it for me.
