This addition to my knits collection, made in Italy by my go-to brand Doppiaa, has been cheaper than the last batch of DNAs is and to me is more satisfying in several departments, from the colourway (a mostly subjective issue, of course) and fabric (cotton, so easier to care for) to the smaller (but still keeping the curved points' detail) collar. It shares with Claudio's the slim/boxy fit and the short length:

cheer up it's summer. ;D

You should walk a mile in his shoes 😉

Got an email today about relaunched 60s brand Renauld - sun glass manufacturers of the stars (Elvis and a number film icons wore 'em!)

One for folks with deep pockets (!) but nice to gaze at

These are nice

Yes, they are, but with those prices I guess they still cater for Hollywood stars and the like  ;D

Yes , they cost more than my first scooter brand new🤪

Whilst l love the Italian Job never been that keen on those specs and the way the Mafia guy crushes them will now feel that bit more painful 😭

Had to wear a suit today so went for a Dark Green 2 button, Tattasil BD and vintage tie.
And yes you are allowed to take the piss out of my ridiculous Moustache.

Love that tie , Adam . You have some great vintage ties , young yin .

Two auxiliary RCA inputs, no excuses now, Ian....

Erm, maybe the price point?  :-[

It is back to the old question,  do you want a bit of furniture or do you want a quality hifi. For some reason ladies were never keen on all the wires that came with hifi and Bang and Olafson tried to address that . In the end its horses for courses. .

What is often forgotten is that , in the late 7ts many Mods were into the 2-Tone thing , they rode the crest of the revival wave .
Around where l lived at the time , the  big Mod bands were The Purple Hearts and Secret Affair , to me The Hearts were a bit punky but l saw Secret Affair a couple of times and they put on a great show .
However , my favourite early revival band back then were 9 Below Zero , again managed to see them a couple of times . On the first outing they were appearing at a local student union hall and as there had been a bit of a riot the week before 9BZ were due to arrive , the students on the door took one look at us and decided to not let us in . We then walked down to the stage door just as Dennis and the lads were arriving . We told them what had happened and he took one look at us and said he would get us in , we ended up hanging out backstage and getting right next to the stage when they went on , Dennis had told the snot nose students we were his cousins . . ;D

As far as OCS are concerned , l always assumed they were Mods , they looked like them , granted not all the music was Mod neccesarily but still a very good band , l thought . Certainly better than the majority of the earlier bands many of whom seemed to be jumping on the bandwagon - remember Graduate ?

It finally arrived, on the acceptable side of "snug"  ;D

So , it is not muscle fit then ?

Imperial bedroom gets played regularly here , beyond belief being my favourite track. his latest album is a return to this form.
I've been meaning to check out the latest one, the pandemic has turned everything upside down for me! Missing Record Shops and magazines for months now...

Aye , l didn't know Weller had a new album till a pal told me .
House arrest has meant not going around to friends houses , not visiting relatives , being unable to go to the footie , having to be out of the bar/restaurant by 10 and that is before we get the whole anti social distancing and suppose to be scared of our fellow human being.
They have taken your life off you
I have the new Weller, good rcord but isn't going to satisfy the "Jam fans".
The shops are open here, been for awhile now, I just won't go to them.
Too many people here were convinced it's a "hoax", so they don't mask or distance themselves. Maybe that'll change since their "Leader" is parked in a hospital bed right now, getting pumped with a drug "cocktail".. we'll see.

Maybe not a 'hoax' but Fauci now seems to in the mire for 'gain of function ' with the CCP and your leader Gretchen Whitmer, dropped herself in it by breaking her own rules and getting caught , oh dear. .
Digging all the way back to last October to push another "narrative"?  ::)

Well you did say "we'll see " and now we have that the truth is coming out and not some slimy "narrative " pushed by Cuomo , Whitmer and Joebama . .or Dr Faeces , or CNN ( their viewing figures are somewhere in the toilet)for that matter  ;)
::) You should give it a rest Simon, last thing anyone in my country needs is more "RW crack-pottery" from people who don't live here.
We have enough of that here, thanks. I'll let you know if we're running low...

So facts are now right wing crack pottery ? That sounds like slimy, Communist bulls**t, l think you should stop your occasional little drops of your political beliefs , they have no place on this Forum !

Almost , laughable...................
