I nabbed the top mac in the tan and the blue too. My trusty old M&S has had its day now in terms of it remaining waterproof so did need replacing. Gutted to put it out to graze and won't get rid of it either but these two new ones will do the trick I think.

I do like that mate. A little sort of 'outside the box' but nothing wrong with that. Pricey though?

Books and other printed media / NEW QUADROPHENIA 'MAKING OF' BOOK!!

Just got my copy of this amazing tome covering every aspect of the classic movie. Simon Wells put together a lovely book some years back but this is something else altogether. Photos and info new to me. Well worth a look.

Glad it all went OK mate. Never made it down for a daytime event or even a shop this year. Just a night-time gig on Saturday but will be down for PP Arnold in Oct and plan to make a day of it so will be in for sure.

Like this. Pockets too for toffees and pipe! What not to love?? These are the guys who do the 007 stuff too aren't they. Been looking at some of that but as noted big money. Pal of mine has a few bits and seem nice enough.

It's all good mate. Have a go. As I said they are ace but I'd not feel good in them.

T Shirt is nice and certainly something I think I could get away with. Shoes are gorgeous too but as noted fine for a 60s pop star or a 20 year old but I'd feel a bit 'Mutton' in them but bloody nice.

I went for the cover featuring what were then my local band The Chords. My favourite of that era too. Saw them many times locally and around and about too. Great memories. I know how people may feel about Bushell and I am not a fan particularly but he was at many of the gigs I was at as a kid and did get it 'out there' in the music press.

A re-issue with updates of the book from a few years back. A choice of covers this time too. I thoroughly enjoyed the first release and for the price of this am diving in for the second version which I understand will have a fair bit more and different to last time.

I nabbed a towelling Riviera collar Polo from JOHN LEWIS a few days back. Decent enough and knocked down to 20 now too.
