Another legend has now passed.

"Little" Millie Small, bluebeat and ska pioneer. Somehow when I re-watch the TV special, Around The Beatles won't be the same.  :'(

Glad to hear back from you, Peggy, even under the mournful circumstances.

"My Boy Lollipop" is of course a timeless oldie and the tune that popularized ska worldwide but it would be unfair remembering the lady just for that, she recorded some nice singles (and albums) in the early-to-mid-60s and a fine, more mature, reggae LP at the tail end of the decade. RIP
