Loving that Reverse stripe shirt. Wonder who makes those nowadays?  Brilliant film, not to be missed.

Now that you mention it, o beloved sponsor, I'd swear I've seen those shirts not long ago...  ;D ;)

Seen both, Claire and have the novel of That'll Be The Day. You'll enjoy them.

That'll be the day is a better movie, IMO. Stardust is quite shambolic (and the low budget shows), but just the Moonie cameo and the soundtrack (including the songs Dave Edmunds penned, and played, for the Stray Cats) are worth the price of admission alone.

I know I've mentioned this film previously, but if you missed it the first (and second, and third :D) time around TPTV is showing 'The Boys' again on Friday 13th November at 3pm; preceded by an interview with Jess Conrad about his role in the film at 2.50pm.

Great wardrobe on that, Paul! The "boys" of the title never get called that but they're sartorial examples of early Modernists in all but name.

Just had a quick look at the TPTV listings and the following might be interest to some on here:

Tuesday 16th February 2021 at 8.00am - Dateline Diamonds (1965) - Comedy musical stars The Small Faces, The Chantelles and Kiki Dee. Lester Benson (Kenneth Cope) the manager of top rock band The Small Faces, is hiding a secret.  Apparently, SF appeared in the film as a promotional vehicle for the release of 'I've Got Mine', however the film's release was delayed and the band had received no other publicity for the single, which subsequently failed to chart!!

Indeed it is Rafa, and with 'It's Too Late' on the B-side, it's a great double-header.

Makes you wonder where the Small Faces would have went with decent management, say something like Lambert and Stamp  .
I wont make any deals with you , I've resigned. .
I wont be pushed, filed , stamped , indexed , briefed , debriefed OR NUMBERED!
