Nice top! Did you grab it through Yoox?

I need to get better at spotting stuff on there...!

Yep, Robin. It pays to keep an eye on their New Arrivals dept. once a month or so (filtering by size and price they boil down to 6 or 7 pages, depending on the kind of garment you're interested in).

When you locate something you like -or that you can't live without!  ;D-, file it on your "Wants" folder and take a look now and then at the page to see if it's reduced (it helps if you're subscribed, of course, as they're constantly doing sales and they warn you). It may take from a couple months to a couple years but chances are some promotion will apply to the item you want.

Being a seasoned Yoox veteran, I'm aware of some brands that usually do interesting things (others than the usual supects, Beams, Fred Perry, Levi's, Todd Snyder and the like), especially Italian makers, so I routinely search by brand to see if there's something new that appeals to me.

Now that`s very nice and cotton gets the thumbs up from me too.

Thanks, Matt!

Not my bag, baby.
But I guess the colors would work in a warmer/tropical climate...

Horses for courses, Mike; those Italian retro knits have replaced cycling tops as my pet obsession, I must be growing old!  ;D.

I wouldn't speak of tropical climate here (not yet, at least  :-[), but they're the perfect attire for a vermouth in a bar's terrace in our humid & hot Mediterranean Summers or a stroll down Biarritz promenade. That Riviera Continental vibe suits me fine.

I'll tell that to my body when the stiffness sets in after my next racquetball game, Mike  ;)

I remember something the actor/director Clint Eastwood told someone interviewing him when asked why he kept working that grueling of a schedule at his age, and he replied something like: "You don't let the 'old man' in..."
Works for me, so far ;)
