I wasn’t aware of the term when I was a kid but clearly remember even at a young age being a right miserable bastard (even more than usual!) during the winter months, hard to get out of bed, unmotivated, constant headaches etc and longed for the warm weather season. Then when it came and it rained I was miserable again!
We had a family holiday to Gairloch in NW Scotland which is spectacular countryside and every little cove and inlet has a great beach but we barely got out of the car as it rained 12 days out of 14!
Only when I got older and heard about SAD I thought this seems all too familiar to me!

Well your certainly in the right place now. ;D
Not stuck in the 60's

Cheers, Mike, a Beams + number, luckily one of the few OTP brands that cater for the smaller gents sizewise!  8)

That has a sort of old school Wimbledon line judge look about it Syd - which is a great look IMO.

Cheers, Rod, I get what you mean, and yep, I like it too. The words "old school" are key here  ;)

I wrote about my own version here ...

Every so often I see one of those Ralph Lauren Wimbledon blazers pop up on eBay and get a bit tempted but then common sense takes over. I noticed a couple years ago he re-jigged the outfit with pin striped blazers of which I’m absolutely not a fan so even the navy with white piping version is slipping into ‘old school’ now. I actually tried one in when I was in New York once. They’re 100% wool and quite heavy which explains why on the rare occasion it’s sunny and hot in England - like around Wimbledon fortnight - the line judges often doff their blazers anyway!
