Thanks Syd.
This was Suitsupply off the rack, with sleeves shortened and third button added.

Cheers, Rod, it seems Suitsupply's jackets withstand well the upper button surgery, it's good to know that.

I donít mind the critique at all, makes for an interesting exchange.
Take a look at the blog, as in my defence:
1. The main idea was for this to be a country-squire influenced work outfit with tie and heavy beige chinos
2.  As an adjunct I thought this was a decent casual / travel outfit with the rust strides. It may not be obvious but thereís a rust windowpane overcheck in the Jacket which is why I thought they would combine well

So that may or may not mitigate my pics but ta for the comments either way.

Simon has a point here, Rod, I think the jacket (that's lovely and fits you like a glove, as usual) would have worked better with, say, olive or beige brown-ish slacks. You can get away with the rust ones, but it's a bit too much of a contrast, IMO. I see fall is on its way (not here tho', it still seems midsummer)

Or else go fur a stronger contrast wi' chocolate broon breeks.

Funnily I had thought about that combo too, Laird! I reckon that kind of jacket wouldn't look half bad paired with my brown JtG sta-prests.
